I spent well over a year on my first two Glastonbury paintings. Whilst painting them I was almost back at the festival. It's been nice to see them all together in a field, where you can see how my painting has developed over time.

''Bearded Theory Will Blow You Away'' I was at the Bearded Theory Festival 2009 when Dave Brock and Kris from Hawkwind came into the Gallery. Really nice people, had a nice chat. The next day a freak Tornado struck the festival, and blew the main stage away. Gails Something Else Tea Tent went up in the air, and my PA went flying across the Campfire Stage. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. I just had to paint something after that amazing experience.
I delivered this painting to Dave and Kris at the Assembly Rooms Leamington Spa May 2011. A nice day and a great gig, Dave was a bit shocked when he saw how big this painting was.Dave Brock Hawkwind Painting
